A series of brand new services designed to be used with adults who have recently found faith - perhaps through Christian nurture courses like Alpha or Emmaus. These services begin with Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child and the Welcome of those Preparing for the Baptism of Children. This is followed by the liturgical material that marks the five key stages in the catechumenate (teaching) process, leading to the baptism of those old enough to answer for themselves. This material is designed to enable communities to support and encourage young people and adults who are formally exploring the Christian faith and preparing for baptism.
